Alvin L. Bausinger, Jr., 54, of Montgomery, passed away at ManorCare Health Services, Jersey Shore on Monday, June 10, 2019.

He was born in Williamsport on July 20, 1964, a son of the Alvin L., Sr. and Lois (Braker) Bausinger.

Alvin was a 1983 graduate of Williamsport High School and had attended the former W.A.C.C., now Pennsylvania College of Technology. He enjoyed hunting, working with crafts. woodworking, attending Indian powwows, and working on cars.

He had been employed in the janitorial and custodial field for a number of companies.

Surviving are his daughter, Alissa M. Bausinger, son; Brian L. Bausinger and their mother; Christi J. Bausinger all of Montoursville, sisters; Jean (John) Richards of Cogan Station and Carol (William) McElroy of South Williamsport and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, a brother, Theodore A. "Teddy" Bausinger, preceded him in death.

The family will receive family and friends at Balls Mills U.M. Church, 5941 Bloomingrove Rd., Cogan Station on Monday June 17, 2019 from 10:30 until noon.

A private family committal service will be held at Balls Mills Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
