Betty J. Stewart, 95, of Williamsport, passed away at the Roseview Center on October 27, 2026.

She was born on April 12, 1931, a daughter to the late Harry and Mildred (Robinson) Colburn.

Betty was very devoted to her faith, and was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. She attended Rochester School of Nursing, and went on to work for Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, Binghampton Hospital, and the Williamsport Hospital before her retirement. She was a self-taught yet talented piano player and would love to write letters.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Stewart in 1994.

She is survived by her daughters, Denise Deems of Williamsport and Diane Eiswerth of South Williamsport; as well as her extended family.

In addition to her parents and first husband, Betty was preceded in death by sister Dorothy Cole; brothers Everette Colburn, Clair Colburn, and Eldyn Colburn; son-in-law Bryon Eiswerth; and grandson Cameron Eiswerth.

A Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
