Blanche Ambrogetti, 91, of Montoursville, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on March 4, 2020, at The Gatehouse.

Born in New York City on April 5, 1928, she moved to Williamsport when she was six months old. She was the youngest daughter of Amerigo and Anna Bernardi Ambrogetti.

Blanche graduated from Williamsport High School in the class of 1946 and worked for 41 and a half years at the Lycoming County Board of Assistance, retiring as the administrative officer there.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Montoursville and enjoyed volunteering at the Divine Providence Hospital gift shop and ushering at the Community Arts Center.

Blanche was a devoted daughter who took care of her mother for her mother's entire life. She was also a loving aunt who was always involved in her nieces' lives.
In addition to her parents, Blanche was predeceased by two sisters, Nora Goehrig, of Montoursville, and Elda Pagana, of Williamsport.

She is survived by four nieces, Diane Lorson, of Montoursville, Cynthia McClure, of Carlisle, Susan Tomlinson, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Patricia Pickel, of Landisville. Also surviving are five great-nieces, four great-great-nephews, and one great-great-niece.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport, 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, with her pastor, Rev. Michael McCormick, officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Mt. Carmel section of Wildwood Cemetery in Williamsport
