Bonnie Lou Johnson, 88, of Williamsport, passed at The Williamsport Home on Dec. 30, 2024.

She was born in Williamsport on May 21, 1936, a daughter to the late Clarence and Esther (McDaniel) Bowman.

She worked in the Montoursville School District.

Her husband of 55 years, Robert L. Johnson Sr. preceded her in death on April 28, 2010.

Bonnie is survived by children Robert L. Johnson Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA, Michael (Terry) Johnson of Avis, Jeffrey (Terri) Johnson of Williamsport, and Timothy (De) Johnson of Williamsport; grandchildren Jeremiah, Ashley, Allison, Chelsea, Isaac, Dominic, Angela, Devon, Jordanne, Justin, Cassy, and TJ; 22 great-grandchildren; as well as sister Jacquelyn Stroble.

In addition to her parents and loving husband Robert, Bonnie was preceded in death by her daughter, Jill DeSanto,  three grandsons; David, Samuel, Nicholas,  and a sister, Patricia Miller.

The family will receive family and friends at Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 133 E. 3rd St., Williamsport from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. A funeral service at the funeral home to honor Bonnie will follow at 2 p.m.
