Clara Ann "Clarann" Philbin, 93, long time resident of Loyalsock Township, passed on Oct. 25, 2023 at Valley View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Williamsport on April 11, 1930, a daughter to the late Aaron C. and Dorothy (Audet) Steinbacher.

Clarann and her husband Garth were proud co-owners of The Vanity Shop in Williamsport for 22 years before their retirement. She was a member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church and was a graduate of St. Joseph High School. She was an avid bowler, who bowled for over 60 years at Faxon Lanes until she was 92.

Her husband of 58 years, Garth A. Philbin preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 2015.

She is survived by their children, Michael (Robin) Philbin of Montoursville, Lynn (Dave Wommer) Philbin of Williamsport, Barbara (Dan) Tudor of Collegeville, Richard (Sharon Papp) Philbin of Fall Church, VA, and Steve Philbin of Alexandria VA; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; as well as brother Rev. Wilfred J. Steinbacher.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 1220 Northway Rd., Williamsport PA 17701 with her brother, Rev. Wilfred J. Steinbacher officiating.

The family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made in Clarann's name to St. Ann Church.
