Charles C. "Clark" Casale, 79, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully at the Williamsport Home on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019, with his wife at his side.

Clark was born in Williamsport on Nov. 22, 1940, a son of Charles H. and Kathleen Clarkson Casale.

He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Clark retired from Chef Boyardee and also had owned Clark's Sharpening, working with cutlery for many area restaurants. He enjoyed music and played both the organ and piano; he also enjoyed photography.

Clark was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War.

Surviving is his wife, the former Catherine M. "Kay" Genua; they celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on May 4, 2019. In addition he is survived by his son Stephen J. Casale, of Jersey Shore; grandchildren, Kathleen and Stephanie Casale; a great-grandson, Nolan Andrew; two brothers, Stephen G. Casale, of Williamsport, and Jeffrey A. (Claire) Casale, of Asheboro, N.C.; nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a lifelong friend, Jimmy Leigh.

In addition to his parents, his son Andrew Charles "Drew" Casale, and sister-in-law, JoAnn Casale, preceded him in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 W. Fourth St., Williamsport, with the Rev. Brian Van Fossen officiating, burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Clark's name may be made to a charity of your choice.
