Connor Evan Mattie

(October 26, 2001 – April 12, 2025)

Connor E. Mattie, 23, of Montoursville was sent to his eternal home on Saturday, April 12, 2025. He passed away at UPMC Williamsport, while surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Williamsport PA on October 26, 2001, a beloved son of Raymond and Michelle (Cimini) Mattie, a big brother to Sam Mattie.

He was a 2020 graduate of Montoursville High School and was employed at M & S Conversion as an assistant mill operator. Previously, he was a nature photographer on a social media platform for "Musings of a Christian Physician on the Physical and Spiritual Healing of Man." Connor was kind, sensitive, and never held a grudge.  An outdoorsman at heart, he enjoyed riding his ATV through the fields near his home and spending time in nature with all of God's creation. He liked physical fitness, running and dreamed of being a martial arts expert. He was known for his specific passions which continued altering over the years. Some of these interests included Ben Franklin, frogs, wild animals, and the military. He had a deep spiritual connection. He loved God and he loved his Country.

In addition to his parents of Montoursville and his brother of Clemson, South Carolina are paternal grandparents, Andrew and Theresa Mattie of Montoursville; maternal grandfather, Ronald Cimini of Williamsport; paternal aunt, Terri (Robert) Guerin of Louisburg, NC; paternal uncles, Stephen (Karen) Mattie of Johns Island, SC, Robert Mattie of Missoula and numerous cousins, close family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Rosalie Cimini; maternal aunt, Heather Cimini and maternal uncle, Ronald "Tory" Cimini.

An Occasion of Remembrance will be held for Connor at Herman & Luthers, 787 PA-87 Hwy, Montoursville on Sunday, May 4, 2025 with visitation from 2:00 – 4:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions may be made to the River Valley Regional YMCA's (designated to the Superstars Program), 641 Walnut St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
