Antoinette (Taddeo) Pellegrini

Antoinette "Dolly" (nee Taddeo) Pellegrini, 87, of Wake Forest, NC, passed away Sunday, December 22 ^nd , 2019 surrounded by her family.

Born in Williamsport, PA., Dolly graduated from Williamsport High School before attending Susquehanna University, where she was actively involved as a cheerleader and was in the Biemic Society (Woman's Athletic Association) and the Kappa Delta Sorority. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Pennsylvania. While attending Penn, she was a member of the Newman Club and Student Physical Therapy Association. She received her clinical training at the Coatesville Veteran's Hospital. Early in her career, she worked with children before having a family of her own, later returning to her career.

Dolly became an NFL wife when she married Bob Pellegrini in 1958. His career took them to many places where she made many lifelong friends. While Bob's job often kept him away from home, Dolly was a homemaker and loving mother who enjoyed bingo, bowling, visiting the casinos and being with family and friends. Dolly and Bob retired in Southern NJ, celebrating their 50 ^th anniversary before he passed away in 2008. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, solving the daily crossword puzzle and watching her favorite television shows. She was a devout Catholic and prayed her rosary daily. Family was the most important aspect of her life. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She will be missed by her daughter, Pamela Freas and husband Don, of Wake Forest, NC, her son, Michael Pellegrini of Raleigh, NC, her son Robert Pellegrini and his wife Jodie of Mountain Top, PA. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Michael Freas and his fiancé Nicole Pellegrino of Hoboken, NJ, Lauren O'Sullivan and her husband Max of Jacksonville, NC, Robert, Gabriella, and Joseph Pellegrini of Mountain Top, PA. Her parents and siblings are all pre-deceased. She leaves behind a loving family including sister-in-laws Victoria Taddeo and Beverly Pellegrini, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive family and friends Saturday, January 4 ^th , 2020 from 9 to 10:30 AM at the Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 133 E. Third Street, Williamsport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. Joseph's the Worker Parish, 702 West Fourth St., Williamsport. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport.
