Donald Leroy Miller, 88, died July 29, 2026. Born in Williamsport, PA in 1937, he was the son of the late Adam George and Catherine Irene (Eck) Miller. He married Mary A. Eiswerth in 1959.

Don graduated from Williamsport High School in 1956 and attended Williamsport Technical Institute and Florida State University. He was employed by American Stores & Lundy Lumber Company, Williamsport, PA; M.L. Clasters, Bellefonte, PA; Devlin Lumber & Supply and Home Depot, Rockville MD, retiring in 2009. He also provided architectural drafting services for private clients.

In 1968, Don moved to and raised his family in Rockville MD. Family time was precious to him. He enjoyed attending his kids' many activities and he loved playing with his grandkids.  Later in life he spent as much time as he could outdoors.  He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockville, MD.

Don is survived by his beloved wife Mary and their six children: Michael (Mary) of Forked River, NJ, Stephen (Susan) of York, PA, Richard (Mindy) of Catonsville, MD, Deborah (Scott) Ashman of Ashburn, VA, Brian (Ann) of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Douglas (Carrie) of Carlisle, PA; 13 grandchildren: Madeleine (Jordan), Catherine (Austin), Meredith (Romeo), Adam (Sammy), Abigail, Christian, Nicholas, Zachary, Charlotte, August, Michaela, Laura, and Luke; 6 great-grandchildren: Isaiah, Ezra, Jackson, Asher, Elise, and Clara; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers George, Carl, and Royce.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on August 12, 2026 at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 W Fourth St., Williamsport, PA  with burial to follow at Wildwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and family prior to Mass from 8:30-9:30am, August 12, 2026 at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E Third St., Williamsport, PA.
