Douglas E. Dusza, 34, of Williamsport, left this Earth unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019. Born on Dec. 30, 1984, Doug was the son of Dennis and Holly (Seitz) Dusza, of Montoursville.

Doug was a graduate of Bishop Neumann High School in 2004, where he lettered in basketball, baseball and soccer. He went on to graduate from Penn State University with a degree in criminal justice. He forged a career in the energy field working principally with wind energy development, and also gas and solar placement in Illinois, Ohio and Minnesota.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Caitlan P. (Entz) Dusza, and his son Dominik, 4 years old, whom he adored. They were more than father and son; they were like best buddies. Also, Doug leaves behind a sister, Sally L. O'Neill; brother-in-law, Joseph; a nephew, Levi, and two nieces, Tori and Kylie; father- and mother-in-law, Greg and Kimberly Entz; a brother-in-law, Joshua; and a sister-in-law, Alexis. He also left many close aunts and uncles.

Doug's loves, besides his family, were Penn State football and basketball, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Joe's cheesesteaks, which he had every time he came home to Williamsport. Doug was also an avid fisherman, and took trips with his Dad to the Snake River in Idaho, and walleye fishing in northern Ontario. Most of all, he loved to fish the fly section of Lycoming Creek. Doug also had two canine friends, Mia and Maci. His love of animals was always evident, as he would take them out for several walks every day.

The family will receive friends and family at Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., with a viewing beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, followed by a short service at 8:30 p.m. The burial will be a private family service at a later date.
