Dwane A. McMullen, 66, of Williamsport passed away at home on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
Dwane was born in Reading on August 9, 1958, raised by his step-father, Emory Moore and mother, Shirley McMullen.
He had worked at Staiman's Recycling and since 2011 has been employed at Wildwood Cemetery in maintenance and as a groundskeeper.
Dwane had many talents, including home improvement and working on cars, in addition he enjoyed; hunting, camping and when he was younger fishing.
He and his wife Laurie J. Moore celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary on May 15, 2024, surviving in addition to Laurie, are a son, Nathan, daughter Judy, three step-children, 5 grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.
In addition to his step-father and mother, three brothers and a step-grandchild preceded him in death.
There will be no visitation, a graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on April 12, 2025 at Wildwood Cemetery with Pastor Carol Johnson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions in Dwane's name may be made to, Susquehanna Health Foundation, for the benefit of the Hillman Cancer Center, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
