Eleanor Stearns Perciballi peacefully left her body on March 3, 2023. She died from myelodysplastic syndrome and would have been 95 at the end of this month. She was the wife of Henry Perciballi for 69 years and daughter to Eleanor Whitehead and George L. Stearns.

Eleanor was a member of First Presbyterian Church until its recent closing. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School and then from Philadelphia General Hospital School of X-Ray Technology. She worked in the medical field as an X-Ray technician at Williamsport Hospital and Department of Army at Camp Pickett in Virginia. She later worked as a medical secretary at Richmond Memorial Hospital and Williamsport Hospital. She was a member of The Women's Club and an Emeritus Sustainer of the Junior League. She loved playing tennis and bridge with her good friends.

Eleanor was a joyful and gracious soul who deeply adored all of nature, especially cats! She was kind beyond words and always, always had a bright smile and a caring, uplifting word to share. Her whimsical and sometimes wee bit mischievous sense of humor will be missed by all who were fortunate to know her.

Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband Henry Perciballi; sisters Jane Smith and Ann Mansel; and brother Charlie Stearns. She was preceded in death by 3 of her nieces and nephews and leaves behind 10 nieces and nephews.
