Emmett Jasper Showers, affectionately known by his family as "Emmy" or "Chewie", died at UPMC Williamsport ER on Feb. 14, 2024.

He was born on August 11, 2022, the son of Candie Musser and Scott Showers.

Emmy was a rambunctious little boy, who loved antagonizing his siblings and playing ball with his sister, watching Bubble Guppies and Paw Patrol (especially Rubble). He loved music, cheese curls, ice cream and pop-tarts, and always wanted to be the center of attention.

He is survived by his parents; Candi Musser (Patrick Hurst) of Williamsport and Scott Showers (fiancée, Jessica Miller) of Williamsport as well as sister Zoey Grace Showers; half-siblings Davian Showers, Airabella Smith, Kirk Altland-Trego Jr., James Roland Altland-Trejo, and Jasmine Evelyn Agor; paternal uncle Vincent (Taylor) Showers; paternal great uncle, Wayne Harvey, maternal grandmothers, Barbara Bennett and Elaine Trahey; maternal great-grandparents Douglas (Lisa) Smith Sr.; paternal grandparents Romaine Showers (Frank Smith) and Thomas Harvey, paternal great grandfather, Edward (Linda) Harvey; as well as great-aunts and great-uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Bennett; and maternal biological grandfather, Douglas Smith Jr.

Burial will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Montoursville Cemetery, 1401 Broad St., Montoursville PA 17754.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
