Frances K. Maggs, 72, formerly of Market St., and a resident of 2001 Memorial Ave., passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2020, while surrounded by family and friends.

She was born in Montoursville on Jan. 2, 1948, a daughter of Charles and Eisabell (Zuber) Fullmer.

Frances was a graduate of Montoursville High School, she retired from Kmart where she was employed as a cashier.

She was a long-time member of St. Boniface Catholic Church

Frances enjoyed playing bingo, cross stitch, crochet, and watching crime dramas. She was a people person, she just enjoyed being around family and friends.

Her husband of 39 years, David G. Maggs, died June 25, 2006.

Surviving are a son, David R. (Allison) Maggs of Blaine, Minn., daughter, Heather Carnahan of Williamsport; grandchildren, Renee Carnahan, Max Carnahan, and Mattie Ott, a brother Charles Fullmer, of Grand Rapids, Mich., and sister, Betty Heckman, of Williamsport.

In addition to her parents and husband, her sisters, Faye Nelson, and Peggy Veintemillas, preceded her in death.
A graveside service will be held at Montoursville Cemetery on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. William Corcoran officiating.
