Fred B. "Fritz" Kiessling, 84, of Williamsport passed away at UPMC Williamsport on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.

He was born in Williamsport on January 7, 1941, a son of John P. and Rhoda (Neidig) Kiessling.

Fritz had started his working career at Spencer Heating and part-time at Ghalib's Appliances he then went onto, MW. Kellogg's, Pullman Power, CA Reed, Data Papers and retired from Montour Oil in January of 2006. He enjoyed watching Penn State football, he enjoyed collecting model car and trucks, enjoyed woodworking and was considered a "Mr. Fix-it" by family and friends.

He was a current member St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, but grew up attending St. Boniface Catholic Church

His wife, of 49 years, Elaine M. Ghalib Kiessling, died in 2007.

Surviving his children; Christine (Robert) Cellini, Kelly (Dave) Ritter, Philip Kiessling, Matthew (Christina) Kiessling; grandchildren, Brittany, Michael, Alyssa Cellini and Gabrielle (Phil) Griffin, Keri (Brad) and Rachael Ritter, Jacob Kiessling, Joshua, Jonah and Jayden Kiessling; great grandchildren, Marley Bigelow and Sophia Cellini and a brother, Robert Kiessling.

In addition to his parents and wife, son, Raymond Kiessling; brothers, John, Joseph, James, Charles, Eugene, William and Stephen and sisters, Rita Baver, Margaret Burns, Charlene Houlihan, Eleanor Alice Kiessling and an infant sibling all preceded him in death.

The family will receive family and friends at the church from 12:00 to 1:15 pm, prior to the mass.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:30 Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport with burial to follow at Montoursville Cemetery.
