Freda E. Kleinman, 83, of Williamsport, formerly of Lock Haven, passed peacefully at The Gatehouse on March 23, 2019, with her daughters and friends at her side.

Born May 19, 1935, in Hazelton, she was the daughter of the late Louis M. Goldstein and Evelyn Shupack Staiman.

She was a graduate of Williamsport High School. She and her late husband, Irving Kleinman "Goldy," were in the grocery business and owned Goldy's Market for many years. Freda then owned L&S Market, though most called it Freda's, especially the kids from near and far. Both stores were in Williamsport.

Freda was a very loving mother of two daughters, Sandy Kleinman and Linda Kleinman, both of Lock Haven.

Freda was an excellent cook and baker. She loved children, any pets and flowers. This kind and wonderful lady will be sadly missed by her family and friends. We Love You, Mom!

Family and friends are invited to attend Freda's graveside service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March, 26, in the Temple Beth Ha Sholom section of Wildwood Cemetery, with Marvin Hurwitz, a member of the Temple, officiating.

In keeping with Jewish tradition there will be no flowers. Memorial contributions in Freda's name may be made to Susquehanna Health Foundation c/o The Gatehouse, 1001 Grampian Blvd. Williamsport, PA 17701.
