Frederick C. Eiswert, 82, formerly of Scott St., Williamsport, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at his home in Camp Hill, Pa.  Fred was the devoted husband of Carol L. (Lowe) Eiswert, whom he celebrated 61 years of marriage with on April 26, 2019.

Fred was born in Jersey Shore, on June 18, 1936, the son of Walter and Rose Mary (Keller) Eiswert.  He is predeceased by his parents; his brother, Clarence Eiswert; and his sister, Alice (Eiswert) Miller.

Fred graduated from Jersey Shore High School where he was a member of Future Farmers of America and proudly showed their family's cows at the Farm Show in Harrisburg.  He was also a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, where he was an active volunteer.  Additionally, he was very involved and enjoyed leading activities for his sons' Boy Scout troops.

Fred truly enjoyed spending time with his family and felt it was important to get together.  Any time the family or extended family could get together, he was a very happy man.

Fred worked for several area construction companies before becoming self-employed as a general contractor.  He did this for many years before becoming a housing rehabilitation specialist for the city of Williamsport.  He genuinely enjoyed being both a general contractor and a rehabilitation specialist because he enjoyed working with and helping people.

Fred served in the Army Reserve for 30 years.  He retired as an SFC.

Fred is survived by his wife, Carol L. (Lowe) Eiswert; a daughter, Rosemari  Floriani, of Shoemakersville, Pa.; a son, Bernard (Cathy) Eiswert, of Shippensburg, Pa; a daughter, Cheryl (Richard) Long, of Camp Hill, Pa; a daughter, Ann Marie Eiswert, at home; a daughter, Kathleen (Todd) Kerns, of Clear Spring, Md; a daughter, Jennifer (Joseph) Drauschak, of Nescopeck, Pa; a son, Frederick Eiswert, of  Arlington, VA.; 11 grandchildren;  7 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Nancy) Eiswert, of Linden, Pa; a sister, Grace (Harvey) Letterman, of Mechanicsburg, Pa; a brother, Lee (Mary) Eiswert, of Williamsport, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 3 ^rd , at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 702 W. Fourth St., Williamsport, with Rev. Brian Van Fossen officiating, followed by burial at Resurrection Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 2 ^nd , from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 133 E. 3 ^rd St., Wmspt., Pa.
