"Moments after being read her last rites, devout Catholic Geraldine T. Hamm, 93 of Montoursville, joined her Lord on October 31, 2024, with her loving daughter, Cynthia Freezer by her side.

Jerry, as she was more affectionately known, was born on September 27, 1931 to the late Eugene and Lena Moore. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and retired from GTE Sylvania after many years of dedicated work.

Throughout her lifetime, Jerry blessed the community with her volunteer work, beautiful gardening, and delicious baking.

Surviving are her children, Cynthia (Michael) Freezer, Denise (Beau) Wilfong and Karen (Oldrich) Masek; ten grandchildren, Whitney Rintelman, Kevin Boyle, Karyn Boyle, Lauren Wimble, Ephraim, Gabriel, and Micah Wilfong, Leah Gwin, Olivia and Isabel Masek, 10 great grandchildren, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents and loving husband of 64 years James W. Hamm, eight siblings all preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 800 Mulberry St., Montoursville, PA 17754, with her pastor Rev. Michael McCormick officiating, followed by a luncheon of joyful remembrance in the church hall.

A private burial at Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy, will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions in Jerry's name may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
