Harriett L. Scoppa, 101, of Williamsport, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on July 30, 2024.

She was born in Franklin, PA on April 30, 1923, a daughter to the late John Edward and Gladys Harriet (Shoup) Lawson.

Harriett loved cooking, baking, reading, and was a well-loved regular at Annunciation Bingo.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Samuel R. Scoppa, who passed on September 20, 2005.

She is survived by their children, Charlene A. Campbell of Williamsport, Sandra Miller of Hughesville, Vito Scoppa of Williamsport, and Lisa K. (Rick) DePalo of Weston, FL; grandchildren Kristin and Michael; great-grandchildren Owen, Ava, Asher, Zoey, Makayla, Jayce, Ian, Zach, and Kourtnei; brothers Keith (Arlene) Lawson and Richard Lawson.

In addition to her husband Samuel, Harriett was predeceased by her grandchildren Thomas and Ashley Kaye; as well as her siblings, Lucille, Ethel, Bobby, John Jr., William and Clete.

At Harrriett's request, there will be no visitation. A private funeral and burial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
