Helen K. Marchese, 79, of Montoursville passed at UPMC Williamsport October 23, 2023

She was born in Williamsport on September 25, 1944, a daughter to the late Robert Eck and Bessie R. Welch.

She was a member of the Fairlawn Community Church and worked for CA Reed, New Lycoming Bakery, eventually worked with her husband at Marchese Roofing as the bookkeeper.

She loved her family and was very close with her nieces and nephews. She loved cooking Italian food and was an excellent cook, as well as playing cards with her girlfriends, and spending time with her family.

Helen and her husband, Benjamin Marchese, celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary July 24, 2023. In addition, she is survived by daughter Gina Marchese of Montoursville; grandchildren Savannah Delucia of Iberia, LA; great-grandchildren Madison and Tucker; brothers Ron Wenzel and Bill Welch; as well as many loving nieces and nephews including Tina Beach.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Benjamin J. Marchese.

The family will receive friends and family, Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

A Memorial Service will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday October 29, 2023 at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport PA 17701.
