Helen Maybo, 96, passed away at The Williamsport Home on Oct. 11, 2022.

She was born in Yonkers, New York on January 24, 1926, a daughter to the late George and Eva (Sennick) Grenyo.

Helen was an active member of Holy Cross Orthodox Church, and worked in accomplished secretarial positions throughout her life. In addition to the local Holy Cross Orthodox Church, she was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Yonkers, NY, and was the President of the Church's Ladies Guild until her move to Pennsylvania in the summer of 2015.

Her husband of 37 years, Michael Maybo Sr. passed in 1986.

She is survived by her children and their families; Chris (Walter) Sinatra of Williamsport, Ellen Maybo of Reading, PA, and David Maybo of Reading; grandchildren, Anthony Sinatra, Karen Sinatra, Jennifer (Stephen) Koehler, Natalya (Maybo) (Ben) Gilbert; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Alexis, and Autumn Koehler, and Hunter and Madelyne Gilbert; and her brother Paul Grenyo of Arizona.

In addition to her parents and husband, Helen is preceded in death by her son, Michael Maybo Jr., and brothers, Peter and Joseph Grenyo.

A Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2022 at Holy Cross Orthodox Church, 1725 Holy Cross Ln., Williamsport with Father Seraphim Reynolds officiating. The family will receive friends and family prior to services, from 10:00-10:30am at the church.
