James E. Hauser, 83, of Montoursville, passed away at UPMC Susquehanna on Saturday, August 3, 2019.

Jim was born on August 5, 1936, in Williamsport, the son of Mable M. (Long) Babcock.

A U.S. Air Force Veteran, Airman 2 ^nd class, He served from 1954 thru 1958. Jim was a member of the American Legion, Garrett-Cochran Post # 1.

Jim worked as a wire drawer for 20 years at Bethlehem Steel and was the co-owner of the Riverside Grill in South Williamsport with his wife, Sandra Hauser.

Jim enjoyed basketball, spending time with his beloved pets and cutting fire wood.

Jim's wife of 38 years, Sandra Hauser, passed away Sept. 24, 2018.

Surviving Jim is, his daughter, Toni (Don) James, of Maryland, and his son, James Hauser, of Barbours; his stepchildren, Ed (Barb) Krasavage, of Wyoming, Stuart Krasavage, of Plymouth, Joseph Mancini, of Williamsport, and Justin Mancini, of Atlanta; and his grand-children, Lauren James, Danille James, Garrett Hauser, Krystyne Farris, Barbara Krasavage, and Kurt Krasavage. Jim was also survived by his three great-grandchildren.

Jim was predeceased by his loving wife, Sandra Hauser, and his mother, Mable M. (Long) Babcock.

A private service will be held for the immediate family.
