James A. Horn, 66, of South Williamsport, died unexpectedly on July 1, 2022 at UPMC Susquehanna, after being stricken at home.

Jim was born in Williamsport on January 17, 1956, a son of Roland R. Horn Jr. and Shirley (Roller) Horn.

He started working at Frey's Tire Shop, then McCarty Tires and retired from Laborer's International Union of North America, Local 1180, spending his time working at power plants. Jim loved spending time with family and friends and riding his ATV.

Jim and his wife, Helen A. Welteroth Stalter Horn were married October 31, 1980 and last year celebrated their 41 ^st wedding anniversary. In addition, he is survived by his step-daughter Betsy (Eric Dieterle of Hughesville; grandchildren, Andrew, Brandon and Lauren; great grandson Ryan Long; sisters, DiAnn Cox of Alaska, Barbara (Michael) West of Tennessee and Connie Kirchner of Alaska.

Services and Burial in Cherry Grove Cemetery in Nordmont, PA will be at the convenience of the family.
