Joanne F. Mahonski, 90, of Williamsport, passed at home on July 27, 2024.

She was born on June 22, 1934 in Collomsville, the oldest of 13 children of the late George L. and Eleanor (Steinbacher) Waldman.

Joanne was a Jersey Shore High School graduate and member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. She was active in the church and volunteering for Meals on Wheels.

Her husband of 42 years, Francis J. Mahonski, passed on Jan. 29, 1998.

She is survived by their children, Dan (Kris) Mahonski, Kathy Roedts, Teresa (Scott) Michaud, Michael (Joanne) Mahonski, Chris (Karen) Mahonski, Francine (Randy) Graham, Julie (Rocky) Caringi, Bruno (Pamela) Mahonski, Wayne (Wendy) Mahonski, and Matthew (Emily) Mahonski; 22 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; her 9 brothers and sisters; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Rita Eck; son-in-law Bob Roedts; as well as brothers Thomas, Tim, and Eugene Waldman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Monday, Aug. 5, 2024 at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 W. 4th St., Williamsport PA 17701 with Rev. David W. Bechtel officiating.

Family will receive friends and family at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport PA 17701 on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024 from 5-7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Joanne's name to the Susquehanna Health Foundation, for the benefit of Susquehanna Health Hospice, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport PA 17701.
