Joseph "Rusty" James Orelli peacefully passed away March 20, 2024 in the sunshine of St. Augustine, Florida.

Rusty was born August 6, 1951 in Williamsport, Pa. He was the only son of James V. and Elizabeth (Shaffer) Orelli.

On June 6, 1988 he married his loving wife Jane L. Neil, who survives at home. Also surviving; son Vincent F. Orelli (Shelby), daughter Camille F. Orelli Seeling (Daniel), (step)daughter Tiffany L. Grant (Paul), son Austin N. Orelli. Grandchildren, Nash and Norah Orelli and Kingsley and Princeton Grant, all of Williamsport. Sisters in-law Lori Keffer of Springfield, VA, Dana Neil Arvin and Cole Arvin (Stacy) of Scottsville, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws Ernest and Emma Neil and brothers in-law Van Arvin and Robert Keffer.

Rusty was a graduate of Loyalsock Township High School and Susquehanna University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in Economics.

Rusty joined the family business and soon became president of Orelli Supply Inc. There, he expanded the business to 4 locations in Pennsylvania and became a Platinum Member of PPG. Through Orelli Supply, he was active in many charitable organizations.
Rusty was a member of the Williamsport Country Club for over 50 years. He enjoyed looking back on his time on ski patrol at Ski Sawmill and liked classic cars and car shows. Rusty loved to travel to new places and revisit old favorites with his family. He was known as a fine sailor and fisherman from Newport, RI to Key West, FL.  Especially in his home port of Annapolis, MD.

A visitation will be held Saturday April 13, 2024 from 1-3pm at Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport PA 17701.
