Joseph M. Sciacca Sr., 76, of Duboistown, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, with his family at his side.

Joe was born in Williamsport, on October 26, 1942, a son of Thomas and Ann (Treese) Sciacca.

He retired from South Williamsport School District where he had worked as a custodian.  He enjoyed watching old movies, sports and working on puzzle books, crossword puzzles and word search, in addition he enjoyed bowling.

Surviving are his wife, the former Connie L. Gibson, they celebrated their 51 ^st wedding anniversary on July 1, 2018, in addition, Joe is survived by a daughter and her husband, Kathleen (Clifford) Marshall, of Linden; two brothers, Thomas and Michael Sciacca, both of Williamsport.

In addition to his parents, a son, Joseph M. Sciacca Jr., preceded him in death on August 7, 1990.

The family will receive family and friends at Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport, on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Monday with Deacon Stephen B. Frye officiating, followed by burial at Wildwood Cemetery.
