Joyce Elaine Swank, 56, of Williamsport, passed unexpectedly at home on January 14, 2025.

She was born in Williamsport on September 18, 1968, a daughter to the late James "Jim" Hastings and Eleanor (Crouse) Clark.

Joyce graduated from Hughesville High School in 1987. She worked throughout her life cleaning for many local businesses, from Lycoming College to greyhound buses, occasionally cleaning for friends and local residents.

She is survived by son Michael (Ashley) Swank of Ralston; daughter Kcarrie Swank; grandchildren Onna Swank, Jordyn Swank, Finn Swank, Cleo Swank, Ryn Swank, Pacific Mumin, Kemesis Mumin, and Jahseh Swank; step-grandson Justin Barger Jr; as well as sister Janet Smith.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her brothers Harry and Howard Crouse; as well as sisters Mary Ann Weaver, Donna Hastings, and Niomie Hastings.

A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions be made to the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport PA to help defray funeral costs.
