Katherine "Kathy" Louise (Welch) Hamilton, 66, of South Williamsport, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020.

In addition to gardening, traveling and cruising, Kathy's joy in life came from spending time with her family. She and her husband, Donald L. Hamilton Jr., celebrated 48 years of marriage on Oct. 2, 2019.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her special parents, Florence and Norman Danneker; and three children, a daughter, Cheri L. (Lawrence) Wolfe, of Macungie, and two sons, Donald L. (Leslie) Hamilton III, of South Williamsport, and Joseph F. (Nancy) Hamilton, of Cogan Station. Kathy has seven grandchildren she loved with all her heart, Sara (Ronald) Barrett, Gabriel Koch, Emily and Kady Wolfe, Grace Hamilton, and Wyatt and Alivia Hamilton.

Kathy was the operator of the family business, Kleen-Rite Floor Services, for the past 38 years. She enjoyed and was very proud of her work. Over that time, she became good friends with many people that she worked with. She always wanted to bring a smile to those around her and help them have a better day.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 W. Fourth St., Williamsport, PA 17701 on Friday, Feb. 14, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Brian Van Fossen officiating.
