Kenneth W. Swartwood, 74, of Williamsport, passed away at home on Friday, June 21, 2019.

He was born in Jersey Shore on Dec. 3, 1944, a son of William K. and Faye (Maury) Swartwood.

He had been a general contractor; Ken was a member of First United Methodist Church and served as their maintenance supervisor for years.

Surviving are his wife, the former Edith Bogart, children; Penny Chatterton (Justin), Jodi Schuler (Mike), Wendy Grace; step-daughter,

Amy Reyes (Julio), grandchildren; Kifton, Konnor and Kameron Vanemon, Nick and Seth Schuler, Kirsten, Taylor and Giselle Grace, siblings; Jack Swartwood (Sandy) and Janet Shields (Harry).

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
