Lawrence Earl Kettler (Larry) passed away peacefully early on the morning of December 14, 2024. Larry was born on August 23, 1952 in Williamsport, PA. He was the son of Jack Frederick Kettler Sr. and Malvenia Merlin English Kettler (later Malvenia Kettler Brion after remarrying to Joseph L. Brion after Jack Sr. passed). Larry was preceded in death by his father Jack, mother Malvenia, sister Toni Lee Kettler Buck and brother Jack Frederick Kettler Jr.

Larry served in the United States Marine Corps from 1970-1973. During that time, he was a Defense Message System Specialist and also met Christine Frost, who later became his wife (subsequently divorced). Larry was an avid lover of baseball and had the lifelong Marine mentality of "once a Marine always a Marine" – Semper Fi.

Larry is survived by his sister Victoria Hayes of Lillian, Alabama, his three children; Christopher Lawrence Kettler (Karin) of Dorr, Michigan, Jack Brion Kettler (Amanda) of Pocatello, Idaho and Kathleen Victoria Kettler Salley of Pocatello, Idaho; and four grandchildren Tucker Lee Salley, Maddux Reid Salley, Shelby Lynn Kettler and Camron Michael Kettler.

Larry will be laid to rest with his Mother and Father at Montoursville Cemetery in Montoursville, PA. A funeral service with military rites will be held Friday, May 2, 2025 at 12:00pm at Montoursville Cemetery with Pastor Lon Williams officiating
