Obituary

Lee E. Galligher, 65, of Williamsport died unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021 at Valley View Nursing Center in Montoursville.
Lee was born on March 3, 1956, a son of Wilson F. and Mary R. (Strauss) Galligher.
Lee was raised in the Catholic faith. He was a 1975 graduate of Loyalsock Township High School and had retired from the maintenance department of Loyalsock Township School District. Lee was a member of the Newberry Independent Club, "The Polish Club."
Lee was a people person and was always quick-witted. He loved watching NASCAR and was a lifelong Jeff Gordan fan.
Surviving are his two sisters, Linda J. and Nancy J. Galligher, as well as his three fur friends, his cat Stormy will miss him greatly.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his sister, Sharon A. Galligher.
The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home on Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021, from 6-8 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 133 E 3rd St., Williamsport, on Friday, Sept. 24, 2021 at 1:30 p.m., with burial at Wildwood Cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions in Lee's name be made to LAPS or Lycoming County S.P.C.A. The family would also like to express their deepest gratitude to all of Lee's caregivers, especially those at Valley View Nursing center for their kind and compassionate care.
