Leo H. Eck, 82, of Loyalsock Twp., formerly of South Williamsport, passed away at UPMC Williamsport on Monday, March 17, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Leo was born in Williamsport on December 14, 1942, a son of Paul H. and Charlotte (Kinley) Eck. He was a graduate of Williamsport High School, attended St. Joseph's, and served in the US Army from April 1964 until April 1966. He was the recipient of the Vietnam Service Medal. He was a member of VFW Post 7863 and 078 and American Legion Post 0617.

He had been employed at the former Avco now Lycoming in the Security Department. Leo attended St. Boniface Catholic Church, he enjoyed playing the organ, fishing when he was younger, and was also a very talented artist working in watercolors.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara J. (Rossman) Eck, they were married November 11, 1977 and celebrated 47 years together. In addition, he is survived by children; Samantha Eck of WV, Scott Eck (Brenda) of AL, Tony Harlan (Jody) of Montoursville, Jeanna Hill of AL, Tina Karstetter (Roy) of AL, Brion Harlan (Sheri) of Montoursville, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, a sister, Nancy Cline, and brother, Paul "Sonny" Eck, preceded him in death.

Funeral and burial in Montoursville Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
