Lila "Snooky" Wensel went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Lila was the daughter of the late William Albert Gearhart and Anna Jean Gearhart.

Her son Craig Allen Lyons and brother William Gearhart preceded her death.

Surviving is her husband Clyde Wensel, daughters, Vicki Neidig and Virginia (Steve) Creveling. She has 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Lila went to South Williamsport school. Her earlier years, she worked in Divine Providence Hospital and then worked for Dr. Robert Bastian, whom she talked highly of. She enjoyed fishing, long country rides and the outdoors. Lila lived with her husband for many years in Georgia where she enjoyed so much of what that state offered.
