Margaret Mary (Peggy) Ratke of Williamsport, PA passed away peacefully from complications of Atrial Fibrillation on August 7, 2024. She was born in Williamsport on June 25, 1956 and was the youngest child of Dr Henry Ratke and Cecilia (McIntrye) Ratke. Her childhood was spent in Williamsport.

After graduation from Bishop Neumann High School, Peggy attended Mount St. Mary's College in Emmitsburg, MD. Upon returning to Williamsport, she was employed by Mid-Penn Magazine Co for many years. She left Mid-Penn to provide companionship and care for her parents as they aged and remained with them until they passed away. Since 2007, Peggy worked as a Teacher's Aide for the Loyalsock Township School District, where she especially enjoyed working with autistic pre teens. She finished her working career at the former Divine Providence Hospital (now UMPC).

Peggy is survived by six of her siblings. Mimi (Chuck) Cochran of Annapolis, MD, Anne (William) McDonough of Fort Mill, SC, Kip (Patricia) Ratke of North Wales, PA, Mike (Hope) Ratke of Camp Hill, PA, Joe (Charlotte) Ratke of Williamsport, Barbara (Len) Zawistowski of Ashburn, VA and a multitude of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her sister Ceci and brother-in-law Paul Homan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Monday, September 9, 2024 at St. Boniface Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701 with Rev. Glenn McCreary officiating. Burial will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery.
