Marilynn Donly Bausinger, 81, a longtime resident of South Williamsport, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Rose View Nursing Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Williamsport on Nov. 16, 1937 a daughter of Charles Mathias and Sylvia (Peters) Donly.

Marilynn was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. She was a very talented seamstress, making her own wedding suit and the suits of all her bridesmaids. In addition to the clothing she made for herself and her children, she was also known for the custom draperies and calico crafts she made, including a mural for the Woolrich Corporate office.  Marilynn was also worked at Tetley Tea, was a bookkeeper for her husband's business and a homemaker. She enjoyed watching football and gardening.

Her husband of 27 years, Thomas D. Bausinger, died in 1989.

Surviving are her children and their families, Jill Bausinger Lavallee (Christian), Eric T. Bausinger, Heidi Lynn Bausinger Ort (Lex), grandchildren; Rebecca Bausinger, Jean-Luc Lavallee, Rocco Bausinger, Elise Lavallee, Jacob Bausinger, Halie Ort and Emilie Ort; and her sister, Diana Donly.

In addition to her parents and husband, sisters, Shirley Cartwright and Sandra Nelson both preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 324 South Howard St. South Williamsport with a reception to follow.
