Mary Louise Goehrig

Mary Louise Goehrig, 91, of Montoursville, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, at the Valley View Rehab and Nursing Center. Mary was born in Williamsport on Dec. 9, 1927, and was the daughter of the late Harry P. and Lena Hazel Caldwell Glunk.

Mary was the wife of the late Jack K. Goehrig who passed away in Sept. 1998, just two weeks before their 50th wedding anniversary.

She was a member of St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church. Mary loved to play bingo on a daily basis. She also enjoyed going to the casinos and playing cards once a week with her friends. In her earlier years she and her husband would go camping weekly at the Hidden Valley Camp Grounds. For over eight years she cherished the daily interaction that she had with the customers at Sheetz on Westminster Drive.

Mary is survived by a son, Steve (Dorothy) Goehrig, and a daughter, Sharon L. (Gary) Cuda, both of Williamsport; two brothers, Robert Glunk, of Salladasburg, and Paul Glunk, of Montoursville; a sister, Sister Josine Glunk, of Mendham, N.J.; seven grandchildren; a number of great- and great-great-grandchildren; and by a close friend, Sister John Marie, also of Mendham, N.J.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack K. Goehrig; two sons, Kenneth R. Goehrig and James Goehrig; and two brothers, Louis H. Glunk and Leo Glunk.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Maryás viewing on Monday Jan. 28, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will be held at the Montoursville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Loyalsock Volunteer Fire Department, 715 Northway Road, Williamsport, PA 17701.
