99.8 years old and she survived COVID-19

Mary F. Lepore, 99, formerly of Williamsport, PA, passed on July 27, 2022 at Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital.

Mary was born on November 8, 1922, a daughter to the late Achille and Lucille (Magno) Carnevale.

She loved playing cards, especially poker in Williamsport & Bloomsburg, and enjoyed ceramics, sewing, crocheting, and gardening. Her greatest joy in life was keeping an immaculate home for her family.

She was a parishioner of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, a member of the Sons & Daughters of Italy, Lodge #138, past member of the West Branch Home Builders Women's Auxiliary, and volunteered for the Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.

Mary is survived by her children, Linda (Luther) Strous of Montoursville, Betty (Chris) Noviello with whom she lived, and Joseph (Lori) Lepore; 6 grandchildren, Aaron, Mark & Justin Strous, Steven and Alexander Lepore, and Angela Noviello-Kauffman; 6 Great-Grandchildren, Kayci, Tyler, Trent, Talen, Tobin, and Taryn Strous; as well as sister, Justine "Jennie" DiMarco.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Alexander J. Lepore, who passed in 2014, as well as her parents and 4 brothers, Mauro DeCuio, Tony, Jim, and Nick Carnevale.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am, Monday, August 1st, at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 1220 Northway Rd., Williamsport with Rev. John J. Chmil officiating. Burial at Wildwood cemetery will follow.

A visitation will be held Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 2-4pm at Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 133 East Third St., Williamsport.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's name to either the Home Builder's Scholarship Fund through Pennsylvania College of Technology, or the Lycoming County or Columbia County SPCA.
