Mary G. Marzzacco, 87, formerly of Duboistown, passed away peacefully July 25, 2024 at Williamsport South Rehab. & Nursing Center.

Mary was born in Campodimele, Latina, Italy on Feb. 24, 1937, a daughter of the late Pierino and Angela (DiFonzo) D'Alena, she came to the United States in 1955 with her father and uncle at the age of 17, two years later, she was joined by her mother, brother and sister.

She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and had been employed GTE Sylvania in Williamsport.

Her husband of 55 years, Thomas Marzzacco, died July 12, 2015.

Surviving are their children and their families; daughter, Carrie (Todd) Campbell of Lewisburg; sons, Joseph (Lori) Marzzacco of Duboistown and Anthony Marzzacco of Coatesville; grandchildren; Andrea (Giovanni) Picone, Robert (Liz) Marzzacco and Cassandra (Anthony) Urso, A.J. and Alexis Marzzacco; great great grandchildren, Isabella Marzzacco, Giovanna Picone, Vito Picone, Chloe, Urso, Ally Urso and Olivia Marzzacco; siblings, Liana (Albert) Shurer of Bastress and Raffaele A. D'Alena of Williamsport and brother-in-law, Ross Marzzacco of Bastress.

The family will receive family and friends at Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 133 E. 3rd St. Williamsport on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 5 to 7 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 800 W. Central Ave., South Williamsport with her pastor, Rev. Glenn E. McCreary officiating, burial will follow at Jersey Shore Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions in Mary's name may be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church c/o St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport.
