Mary C. Stanzione, 98, of Williamsport, passed away, March 22, 2019, at UPMC Susquehanna.

Mary was born in Williamsport on Aug. 1, 1920, a daughter of James C. and Josephine (Martone) Stanzione.

She was a graduate of Williamsport High School and attended the former Williamsport Technical Institute. Mary was employed as a secretary for the Williamsport School District and retired after 25 years. She also was a member of the PA Association of School Retirees.

Mary's favorite pastimes were sewing, knitting and reading.

Surviving are her sisters, Anna J. McGill, of South Williamsport; Phyllis M. Stanzione, and a brother, Alphonse J. Stanzione, both of Williamsport; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, her brothers Louis and Joseph, and sister, Catherine Latini, all preceded her in death.

The family will receive family and friends at Crouse Funeral Home and Cremation Svcs., 133 E. Third St. Williamsport, on Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m.  Wednesday, March 27, at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 1220 Northway Road, Williamsport. Her pastor, Rev. John J. Victoria, will officiate. Burial will take place in Wildwood Cemetery.
