Mary Teresa Stopper Brocious, daughter of Herbert and Irene Stopper was born June 19, 1927 in Williamsport, Pa. was carried by angels to heaven on April 27 ^th to celebrate her 53 ^rd wedding anniversary with her husband Richard A. Brocious who preceded her in death in 2005.

In 1943 Mary graduated from St. Joseph High School in Williamsport. She was a member of St. Boniface Church and a lifelong devoted Catholic, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be forever missed by her family. Son, John Martin (Cheryl), daughters, Irene Ogden and Rebecca Brocious (LJ) four grand- children, John, Tyler, Lauren, and Jacob and two great-grand -children, Mya and Kenyon.

In addition to her parents and husband, two brothers James H. and Joseph P. Stopper and a sister Catherine A. Smith all preceded her in death

Mary was very outgoing and made many friends throughout her lifetime. She loved to get her hair done, paint her nails and wear her signature lipstick. She continued to be social during her stay at Manorcare where she participated in various activities. She had many resident and staff friends. Mary's family would like to thank the staff at Manorcare.

The family will receive family and friends on Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 3 to 4 p.m., at Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 10 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 West Fourth St., Williamsport, with Rev. Brian Van Fossen officiating, followed by burial at Montoursville Cemetery.
