Michael A. Phillips, 66, of Loyalsock Twp., passed away at the Gatehouse on Friday, July 31, 2026 while surrounded by family.

Mike was born in Williamsport on June 3, 1960, a son of the late Franklin E. Phillips and Shirley M. (Betts) Phillips.

He spent the majority of his working career as an installer of commercial roofing for Nova Construction, in the winter season he plowed snow for Kinley Enterprise. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working and working around his property.

His wife, Linda (Orwig) Phillips died in 1999.

Surviving are his son, Franklin M. (Amber) Phillips; grandchildren Kinsie Grace Phillips and Parker Michael Phillips; life companion, Patti McClellan all of Loyalsock Twp.; step-son, Levon Whitmyer; brothers, Craig, Charles and Dale Phillips; half-sister, Carol Sholder.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Linda, a grandson, Conner Dennis Phillips preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life will be held August 17, 2026 from 5:00-9:00 pm at The Crippled Bear Inn, 2967 Lycoming Creek Rd., Williamsport PA 17701.
