Nancy L. Spotts Kellenstine, 90, formerly of the 5500 block of Bloomingrove Rd., died September 5, 2024 at The Williamsport Home. Nancy was born November 19, 1933 in Williamsport, the daughter of Ruth Spotts. Nancy was the loving wife of John A. Kellenstine who preceded her in death on September 26, 1997 and with whom she celebrated 40 years of marriage.

Nancy graduated from Williamsport High School in 1952. She received her Nursing degree from the Arnot-Ogden Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1955.

Nancy was a loving, kind, considerate, and generous person who will be greatly missed by those who knew her. She was an excellent cook, noted for her cheesecakes.

She and her husband were owners of Satisfactory Laundry and Linen Supply in the 1970's. She ended her nursing career in the 1990's, retiring from the State Correctional Institute in Muncy, PA.

She and John were the parents of James (Susan Twedt), SC, and Michael, WY, and Tom (Deceased 2016,) and Alice Hanselman (Terry), WY, and Lori Beamer (Steve Ryder), PA, her main caregiver. There are four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by Raymond E. Kehrer Jr., her loving companion the past 24 years. Also surviving is Danee McGill secondary caregiver, and half-brother Thomas P. Lyon, NV.

No services will be held and a private burial will be made in the Wildwood Cemetery family plot.

The family is grateful to all those who cared for Nancy with her health problems through the years.
