Patrick J. Berrigan was born in Williamsport, Pa., on May 10, 1953 to the late Michael R. and Loretta M. (Nierle) Berrigan.

Pat died as a result of a traumatic brain injury related to skiing on December 23, 2019. He was surrounded by his family.

Pat is survived by his brother, Joseph Berrigan (Patty) of Camp Hill; his sisters, Janet Callahan (Richard) of Williamsport, Marilyn Monastro of Carmel, Indiana, Johanna Berrigan (Mary Beth Appel) of Philadelphia, Cynthia Berrigan of Williamsport, Brenda Bower (Greg) of Williamsport, Erica Bradley (Shawn) of Williamsport, Melissa Stopper (Thomas) of New Columbia; Goddaughters, Janelle Pellin, Olivia Surry, Hannah Bower and many loving nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Michael R. Berrigan Jr., his brother-in law, Joseph A. Monastro, and his nieces, Joslyn Monastro and Shannon Cowden.

He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1972. He worked and managed Berrigan Sub Shop in Mansfield for many years. He was an integral part of Berrigan's at the Bloomsburg Fair. He worked in construction and as a painting contractor through the years.

Pat was an avid golfer and member at White Deer golf course. He loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He was a talented woodworker and painter. He had many interests and a strong determination to pursue those. He had a deep love for music and comedies. He was kind, gentle, and passionate.

The family will receive family and friends from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. followed by burial at St. Boniface Cemetery.
