Phyllis J. Maietta, 93, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at her home. Born June 18, 1932, in Williamsport, PA, she was the daughter of the late G. Merrill and Ann C. Kiessling Anderson.

Phyllis graduated from St. Mary's High School, Williamsport, PA, in 1950. She was employed by Faxon Lumber Company before her marriage. Phyllis was a member of Divine Providence Hospital Auxiliary in Williamsport, PA, American Legion Auxiliary in Williamsport MD, and a life member of VFW Post 6319 Auxiliary in Greencastle, PA. She was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hagerstown, MD.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis G. Maietta in 2014, her brother Carl F. Anderson in 1996, and her sister Betty A. Anderson in 2017. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, August 4, 2025, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701. Interment to follow in St. Boniface Catholic Church Cemetery.
