Dr. Ralph E. Thomas, 59, an anesthesiologist at UPMC Susquehanna for 26 years, passed away on Sept. 12, 2021, after a brief battle with cancer. Ralph, originally from Hancock, Md., was one of nine children to Dr. Frank B. and Marion Thomas. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Tania (ńee Hanna), daughter Elena N. Thomas, mother and siblings. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021 10 a.m., at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 W. 4th St. Williamsport, Pa. Rev. David W. Bechtel will officiate. Donations can be made in Ralph's name to the Ronald McDonald House of Danville, Pa.
