Richard H. Felix- "Rick," 85, born Oct. 31, 1933, passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport with his loving wife of 57 years and family members at his side.

Rick was preceded in death by Carl and Ethel Felix of Williamsport. Rick was the loving husband of Sandra M. (Seiders) Felix. He is survived by three children, Brenda M. Peters, of Rochester, NY; Mark R. Felix, of Alpharetta, GA; and Kirk C. Felix, of Williamsport, PA.

Rick loved and cherished his son in-law, Scott Peters; Daughter in-laws, Natalie Felix and Kimberly Felix; Grandchildren, Christina(Loic) Williamson, Katrina(Taylor) Gartley, Tara(Alvin) Felix-Sisavath, Thomas Felix, Whitney Felix, Colby Felix, great granddaughter Dylan Williamson; Cousin and closest friend/confidant Richard(Prudence) Swartwood.

Rick is known and loved because of his devotion to his family, career and community. Let it be known- Rick Felix was proud to be a part of and to represent the Greater Williamsport Area.

Rick graduated from Lycoming College in 1956 and received his master degree from Bucknell University. He was a proud graduate and supporter of Lycoming College serving on boards and he thoroughly enjoyed his favorite role of ringing his cow bell at Warrior football games.

Rick worked as a teacher in the Montoursville Area School District for 43 years retiring in 1999. He coached basketball at Montoursville and Bishop Neumann. He was involved in numerous youth clubs at Montoursville during his tenure and returned to support clubs after retirement. He was very involved in Bishop Neumann Basketball for nearly 3 decades where he volunteered and ran development level programs.

Rick was an avid supporter of numerous philanthropic, educational and extra-curricular organizations in Lycoming County. He enjoyed spending time "solving the problems of the world" with his friends at his clubs, on the river and along the creeks. He loved being on the go with his wife Sandy at his side attending Williamsport Crosscutter games (the bell was there too), any sport at Lycoming, Bishop Neumann basketball, local theatrical performances and anything his children or grandchildren were involved in. If Rick and Sandy could be, they were present.

Everywhere Rick's family travels they hear-

"Your dad was my teacher, your dad was my coach, your dad helped me during a tough time, your dad listened to me in a time of need, your dad is a great guy and I enjoy talking with him, he was like a dad to me…"

Rick has a grateful family and community due to his spirit which he poured out willingly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday, January 5, 12:30 pm, at St. Ann Roman Catholic Catholic Church- 1220 Northway Road, Williamsport, PA 17701. The family will receive family and friends immediately following the service in the church basement from 1:30-3:30 pm.
