Robert L. Stabley, 89, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully at the Gatehouse on Nov. 13, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Williamsport on Jan. 23, 1931 a son of Howard and Mary Stabley.

Surviving are three daughters and their families, Nicole F. (David) Walz, Roberta L. (Joe) Balzer, and Elizabeth Dixon; grandchildren, Lyndsey Balzer, Ashlee Balzer Smith, Madison Walz, and Lucia Walz.

In addition to his parents, his wife of 59 years Nicoletta M. Caputo Stabley and daughter Mary Stabley preceded him in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, with his pastor, Rev. William Corcoran officiating.

Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery will full military honors.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions in Robert's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
