A much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Rosie Cimini, 82 of Williamsport passed away peacefully January 2, 2019 at the Gatehouse surrounded by her family.

She was born June 16, 1936 in Bellefonte, PA, the daughter of Harry and Gladys Tanney.

Rosie graduated from Bellefonte High School in 1954 and went on to earn an Associate Degree in secretarial science from Mount Aloysis in Cresson, PA. She followed her heart to Penn State University where she became a life-long PSU football fan and earned a Bachelors Degree in Education. Rosie's love for children shined through during her years as both an elementary and special education teacher.

Rosalie is survived by her husband, Ronald L. Cimini with whom she just celebrated 50 years of marriage. Also, surviving, a daughter, Michelle Mattie, son-in-law, Ray and two grandsons, Connor and Samuel all of Montoursville, as well as nieces, nephews, many dear friends and her beloved caregivers.

She was predeceased by two children, Heather Lee and Ronald 'Tory' Cimini, a brother, Jerry Tanney, a sister, Nancy Herlocher, and a nephew , Lou Tanney.

Rosie was a member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, the Williamsport Riding Club and Pearls of Passion through FCFP. She loved animals, riding and showing horses, reading books, sewing, and spending time lakeside with her family.

A visitation will be held at Crouse Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 133 East Third St. Williamsport on Monday January 7, 2019 from 6 till 8 P.M.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on January 8, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 1200 Northway, Rd. Williamsport. The Rev. Alex Roche will be the officiant.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Williamsport Branch YMCA at 641 Walnut Street, Williamsport, Pa 17701, an organization that Rosie and her husband strongly supported or Susquehanna Foundation for the benefit of The Gatehouse, Inpatient Hospice Unit, 1001 Grampian Blvd, Williamsport, where Rosalie spent her final days.
