Rose M. Younes, 94, of Loyalsock Township and formerly of Eldred Street in Williamsport, passed away in her home on Sunday, April 5, 2020.
Rose was born in Erie on Jan. 9, 1926, a daughter of Anthony and Phyllis (Zavis) Miller.

She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and had been employed at the former Northern Central Bank, now M&T Bank, and the former JPM Sullivan Furniture Store.

Surviving are a daughter, Barbara (Jim) Bosworth of Swampscott, Mass.; a son, Tim (Sharon) Younes of Mechanicsburg; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Joseph A. Younes; children, Mary Louise Younes, Joseph M. Younes, and Susan M. Kulp; siblings, John, Anthony, and Steve Miller, and Josephine Sigler, all preceded her in death.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family graveside service in St. Boniface Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions in Rose's name be made to American Cancer Society or to St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
