Obituary

Rosemarie Ann Miele, affectionately known as Marie and formerly Rosemarie Naso, passed away peacefully at home on October 12, 2026, following a brief battle with cancer.

Marie was born on April 29, 1940, to the late Anthony and Rose Salvatori Naso of Williamsport. She attended Williamsport High School and graduated from State Cosmetology School in 1957.

Together with her late husband, Marie owned and operated Miele Amusements, formerly known as L&M Music Company. While helping run the family business, her greatest dedication was to raising her five children and creating a loving home for her family.

Marie found her greatest joy in spending time with her 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She took pride in sharing her Italian heritage through her love of cooking, passing cherished family recipes, traditions, and a deep appreciation for her roots on to her children and grandchildren. These traditions became a lasting part of her family's legacy, connecting generations through the love and memories they shared.

Throughout her life, Marie cherished a special, lifelong friendship with Victoria Taddeo. Their bond extended far beyond friendship, as their families shared a closeness that made them more like relatives. The connection they shared over the years was a treasured part of Marie's life.

Marie was a member of the Christian Women, St. Ann Church, and the Sons of Italy Lodge 2786.

Marie is survived by daughters, Angela Miele, with whom she lived, Carolyn A. Miele of Williamsport, Helen Miele of Cave Creek, VA, Michele Miele of Enola; son, Louis D. (Nicole) Miele of Williamsport; grandchildren, Lianna Kaiser, Anthony Kaiser, Nico (Desiree) Kaiser, Brandon (Molly) Bigelow, Matthew (Tina) Bigelow, Kaytren (Darren) Dewalt, Garren (Stephanie) Bigelow, and Connor (Katherine) Bigelow, Marissa Ochs, Amanda Ochs, Stephania Ochs, Jason Ochs, Jonathan (Raquel) Shover, Lauren (Donovan) Krebs, Alexandria (Cathan) Eck, Sabrina Soha, Louis A. Miele, and Lorenzo Miele; 22 beloved great-grandchildren; sister, Lisa Naso; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to her parents and her husband of 41 years, Louis A. Miele, Jr.; grandchildren, Zachary L.A. Bigelow and Angelina A. Miele preceded her in death. She was also predeceased by her Sophia the cat.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 11 a.m. at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 1305 Northway Rd., Williamsport PA 17701. Burial to follow at Wildwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions be made in Marie’s name to either Angelina’s Song, 66 Mall Pkwy, Muncy PA 17756; or Saving Lives for Zachary, 1315 Pennsylvania Ave., Williamsport PA 17701.
